Finish small gaps around pipe openings with a moldable sealing mastic that can be pressed into the space and smoothed against the surrounding surface. The selected option is one 30g box, suited to a small filling task rather than a large-area repair.

Where it is intended to be used

The supplier illustrations show filling the gap between a wall opening and a pipe or conduit. This listing is for the mastic only; pipes, fittings and application tools shown in the examples are not included.

Prepare, fill and smooth

  1. Remove loose debris from the gap and leave the surrounding surface clean and dry.
  2. Take out the amount of mastic needed and shape it to the opening.
  3. Press the material into the gap, distributing it evenly around the opening.
  4. Smooth the visible surface flush with the surrounding area, following the instructions supplied with the product.

Check the application before starting

Surface compatibility, curing time and coverage depend on the application and are not specified here. Check the package instructions and test a small area first. Do not treat this gap filler as a structural repair, a pressure-pipe repair, an electrical insulator or a certified firestop.
